FOOTPIT White Paper
FOOTPIT is a cryptocurrency token launched in August, 2025 and operates on the Solana (SOL) block chain. It is one of 124 tokens operating within the TeamTokens.net ecosystem. Upon its launch, 90% of 1 billion FOOTPIT tokens were placed in a locked Liquidity Pool and trade on the open market. The total supply is fixed and can never increase. From the LP, Dev bought 4% and 1% are kept to pay fees. 10% of FOOTPIT tokens (100 million) were placed in a dedicated Burn Wallet. Tokens in the burn wallet can be used for no other purpose but to be burned as a reward for playoff success.
Burning tokens is as follows:
     Round 1 - Wild Cards - Teams that compete in this round or earn a "bye" for this round get 1% of their associated tokens in the burn wallet burned.
     Round 2 - Divisional - Teams that compete in this round get an additional 1% of their associated tokens in the burn wallet burned.
     Round 3 - Conference - Teams that compete in this round get an additional 1% of their associated tokens in the burn wallet burned.
     Round 4 - Championship - Teams that compete in this round get an additional 1% of their associated tokens in the burn wallet burned.
     Champion - The champion gets an additional 1% of their associated tokens in the burn wallet burned.
This burning scheme will be applied ad infinitem, as burning a percentage of tokens held in the burn wallet ensures the amount will never reach zero. Creating a scarcity of tokens associated with successful teams should drive value appreciation. The FOOTPIT community is known for its passionate and engaged fans of football and want to align their fortunes with that of their favorite teams.
